Beam me up Scotty

When setting up the app, it can’t find the Doppler.
Verify that your phone’s bluetooth is turned on and that you are within bluetooth range of the Sandman Doppler (approximately 10 ft). Go to your bluetooth settings and remove or forget the Doppler, force close the app then try again. If this doesn’t work, unplug the power cable from the Doppler, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in. Restart your phone and try it again. If this still doesn’t work, perform a factory reset and try again.

After my app is set up, it can’t find the Doppler.

Bluetooth audio not connecting
If you have trouble connecting your phone to bluetooth audio, make sure your phone’s bluetooth is turned on. Then forget/unpair the Doppler from your phone’s bluetooth paired devices list. Press the bluetooth button on the top of the Doppler. Then, try connecting to the Doppler via your phone’s bluetooth settings.

My Doppler is displaying the cyclon or KITT lights or won’t stop rebooting. 
Uh-oh! That isn’t ideal. First off, please try and a power cycle. If that doesn’t work please contact support at support@sandmanclocks.com

Whenever I say Alexa I get a flashing red light bar
This is an error light saying that the Doppler can’t connect to the Alexa server. Please make sure you have a working internet connection and then try and sign into Alexa again using the Sandman app.  

The action button is orange
If the middle button, the action button is orange, that means you are connected to Wi-Fi, but not the internet. Please check your local Wi-Fi to make sure it has internet access. To fix this, we recommend power cycling your router and your Doppler. If that doesn’t work, contact your internet service provider. 

Reset my Doppler
Sometimes it might be required to reset your Doppler to factory settings. See the instructions on how to do that here.
